"ROMCIK" is the Artist Name of Roman Schoendorfer. 

He lives and works in vienna and Italy. Friends say he is a look-alike of Lenin...

He started his Art Projects (Photography, Post-processing, Artworks, Paintings,...) under the Title: Monen Projects.

(Monen = a Nickname one of his sons gave to him)

Combining the old with the new:

The former question that influences my work is:

"What happens if you go back in the timeline and visualize the age process of colors?

How far is it possible to make it sightable what happened in the timeline and tell the story of this process?"

 "The renaissance and great oil-painters had influenced my Art. But they had no digital approach.

I want to exeed the limits between oil paintings and photography and combine them to a new dimension."

I work in my "Grinzing Studio" nearby the houses where great Artist lived like Gustav Klimt, Josef Hoffmann, Oskar Schindler, Karl Moll.

Composers had been there, like Ludwig Beethoven and Arnold Schönberg.

Art is everywhere around. It boosts my process of understanding color and time. 

PRELUDE ..................... Time and old rooms and in the context of history

SURREAL VENITIAN ....  Masks, Time and Faces. A face gets wrinkled, a mask not

PROJECTIONS ............  Aged walls and keeping the aging process back by refreshing the colors

STILL LIFE .................... Food as a symbolic moment of "memento more", the vanishing time and the beautiness of nature

FLOWERS ..................... Flowers, usually they get weak but here the opposite:  they seem to have no time process and the surrounding get aged

HYPER NATURE ........... On the way to redefine the perfect nature. Frozen in time without pollution and globalization

BOMBSHELLS ..............Erotic givings of the nature recombined in the timeline
